Huong Hoa: Giving 26 breeding cows to livelihood development groups
In the morning of August 11,2021, Huong Hoa Regional Program of World Vision Project in coordination with the commune project management units organized the donation of 26 breeding cows to 52 households of livelihood development groups in Huong Lap, Huong Linh, Huong Son, Huong Tan and Huong Phung communes.

These 26 breeding cows were purchased from Mr. Hoang Dinh Pho's cow farm, in Tan Lien commune, Huong Hoa district, so they have been adapted to local weather and climate conditions, each weighing from 178 – 200 kg, with a total value of 468 million VND. Earlier, the project staff in coordination with the District Veterinary Station had vaccinated against foot-and-mouth disease and bovine hematoma, and at the same time, guided households on husbandry techniques, building stables and making periodical vaccination for cows.
Previously, the project also gave 22,000 chickens and 11 tons of feed to households of livelihood development groups in 5 communes.
This is one of the practical activities of the project to support and create conditions for people in 5 communes in the project area to develop livestock and stabilize their lives.
