Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ly received Noam Chomsky Prize
Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ly (born 1975), from Quang Tri town, working at the Faculty of Arts and Education, Deakin University, Australia has just received the Noam Chomsky Award - The Star Shine on Achievements in research 2020 and have a profound effect on promoting cross-border research cooperation. Also receiving this award are Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach (born 1984), Deputy Head of Health Economics Department of Hanoi Medical University.

The Noam Chomsky Award is recognized by the Interstate Association of Academic Researchers (USA) for their exceptional contributions to cross-border research, demonstrating academic collaboration among scholars around the world.

Before being granted a master's scholarship by the Australian Government at Monash University in 2001, Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ly was a lecturer at Hue University. In Australia, Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ly has won 30 awards and research scholarships from international, national and school associations for outstanding achievements in scientific research, teaching and learning; is the only Australian scientist in the field of education to be awarded the prestigious Potential Scientist award from the Australian Scientific Research Support Board.
In 2019, she was honored by Forbes Magazine as one of the 50 most influential women in Vietnam.
