'Avatar 2' nhận đề cử phim điện ảnh hay nhất Quả cầu vàng 2023

Theo danh sách được công bố Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Tár và Top Gun: Maverick sẽ cạnh tranh nhau tại hạng mục dành cho "Phim điện ảnh hay nhất".

Phần 2 bộ phim Avatar do James Cameron đạo diễn và viết kịch bản ra mắt sau hơn 13 năm chờ đợi với sự góp mặt của các ngôi sao như Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver...

Lấy bối cảnh hơn một thập kỷ sau các sự kiện của phần phim đầu tiên, Avatar: The Way of Water tiếp tục câu chuyện của gia đình Sully (Jake, Neytiri và hai con của họ) cùng những rắc rối theo sau, những việc họ phải làm để giữ an toàn cho gia đình mình, những trận chiến sinh tử, và cả những bi kịch mà họ phải chịu đựng.

Avatar: The Way of Water có kinh phí sản xuất ước tính là 350-400 triệu USD và trở thành bộ phim đắt đỏ nhất trong lịch sử điện ảnh thế giới. Đến nay, đạo diễn James Cameron đã ghi hình xong Avatar 3 và một phần của phần 4.

Thời lượng của Avatar: The Way of Water là 3 tiếng 10 phút, dài hơn phần đầu 30 phút. Những phản ứng đầu tiên của báo giới về phim là những lời khen dồn dập. Số đông giới phê bình cho đây là một "kiệt tác thị giác đầy mê hoặc".
