"Even if progress is advanced by just one month, one week, or one day, citizens will benefit sooner from a modern public transport service. Progress must not lag; construction deserves top priority", he said.
He also emphasized the need to prevent slurry overflow incidents to protect nearby households, urging contractors to apply precise calculations given the area’s complex geology and limited space.
Acknowledging Vietnam’s limited experience in metro construction, the Minister underlined the importance of technology transfer and training to build domestic expertise. He called for close coordination among consultants, designers, and contractors, with a "sun or rain, work goes on" spirit, operating in three shifts with four crews to speed up progress.
"The Ministry of Construction, relevant agencies, and Hanoi authorities will continue to work together to overcome challenges and move this project forward", he affirmed
