More than 809 million VND to support poor people with disabilities in Cam Lo district for livelihoods development
This is a total capital funded by Global Civic Sharing (GCS) to implement the project 'Increasing incomes of poor people with disabilities in Cam Chinh, Cam Thanh, Cam Tuyen communes, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province by breeding cows raising activities ' during a period of 36 months from July 29, 2021.

The objective of the project is to support 45 poor and disabled women households in 3 communes Cam Chinh, Cam Thanh, Cam Tuyen to get access to loans at preferential interest rates to develop breeding cows, thereby helping households increase income, improve living standards and rise out of poverty.
In addition to funds sponsored by GCS, the households share their contribution through the care and vaccination for cattle. The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Women's Union of Cam Lo district to assume the prime responsibility and closely coordinate with donor and relevant local agencies in selecting the right beneficiaries and using the funds in line with the approved project's objectives.
It’s also assigned WU to assume the prime responsibility to coordinate with the sponsor in formulating a regulation on handling project’s risks and to coordinate with GCS in carrying out procedures for project operation extension in Vietnam in accordance with the provisions of law.
