Support more than 2.1 billion in kind for primary school students in flooded areas

Responding to the call of the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, to share the damages and losses with the people and students in Central Vietnam suffered during the last storm and flood, Friesland Campina Vietnam Company The Dutch Lady Brand and all staff have raised donations through the Ministry of Education and Training to support more than 1.1 billion VND in kind including: textbooks, notebooks, briefcases, tables and chairs. and milk for 1,700 students at 5 primary schools in Quang Tri province. Specifically, Trieu Long Primary School & Secondary School, Trieu Phong District; Hai Son Secondary and Secondary School, Hai Lang District; TH Vinh Lam, Vinh Linh district; TH Ta Rut, Dakrong and TH Huong Tan districts, Huong Hoa district.

This is one of the meaningful activities in the long-term cooperation program "For a Vietnam to excel" between the Department of Primary Education, the Ministry of Education and Training and the company with the desire to support and develop comprehensive development for primary school students.

Previously, Nguyen Sieu Primary School, Secondary School and High School in Hanoi capital supported Quang Tri education sector with the amount of 1 billion VND to equip teaching equipment such as computers, televisions, tables and chairs. pupils, water purifiers… for 4 primary schools in Huong Hoa district, 5 schools in Dakrong district and 2 schools in Dong Ha city.
