Binh Duong province, a major industrial hub in the southern region, has still managed to attract over 1.5 billion USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) so far this year despite considerable impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The LEGO Group will invest more than 1 million USD in the construction of its first ever carbon neutral factory, including investment in solar energy on a 44-ha site in Binh Duong, with a hope to generate 4,000 jobs in the next 15 years.
The southern province of Binh Duong has emerged as a spotlight nationwide in economic and industrial development in 2019.
