Vietnam Association of Building Materials organizes 7th National Delegation Congress
On September 21 in Hanoi, Vietnam Association of Building Materials solemnly celebrated the 35th anniversary of its founding and conducted the Seventh National Congress. Leader of Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh attended and the event.

At present, the Association has 100 individual members and 152 collective members which are Corporations, Companies, Research Institutes and many foreign organizations.
With the principle of purpose are to consult, disseminating scientific and technical knowledge in the field of construction materials and related fields, the operation of the Association is always associated with the development of the country's construction materials industry. It is always involved in the development of legal documents, technical regulations related to the management, production and trading of construction materials, protection of natural resources and the environment and many other objectives. The Association also regularly provides information on scientific and technological achievements of construction materials to its members and communities for practical application.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh highly appreciated the maturity and development of the Association. Over the past 35 years, as a professional social organization, the Association has excelled in the role to protect the legitimate interests of its members.
The association is a bridge between government management and enterprises, promptly reflecting the urgent requirements of enterprises. Hundreds of seminars were organized by the Association and professional associations to seek, disseminate, encourage investment in technological innovation, improve quality, designs, models, product categories and increase strength. competition of Vietnam's construction materials products, constantly striving to turn the building materials industry into a modern, environmentally friendly industry.
Immediately after the event, the Association organized the Seventh National Congress to evaluate aspects of the work in the past term (2014 - 2019), discussing the direction of activities in the coming time and elect the Executive Committee for the new term (2019 - 2024).
