Hung Yen to allocate land and promptly launch eligible social housing projects
According to Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh, to meet social housing targets, Hung Yen must allocate land, finalize planning, and promptly start eligible projects.
On May 7th, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh and the Ministry of Construction delegation inspected the implementation of social housing projects in Hung Yen.

According to the report of the People’s Committee of Hung Yen Province, in the period of 2021-2030, the Prime Minister assigned Hung Yen to build 42,500 social housing apartments. Particularly, the province strives to build about 13,100 apartments in the period of 2022 - 2025 and 29,400 apartments in the period of 2026 - 2030.
After the inspection of 4 social housing projects and meeting with Hung Yen provincial leaders, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh praised the proactive and determined efforts of the provincial People's Committee and investors to ensure construction progress in line with the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.
The Deputy Minister requested that the People’s Committee of Hung Yen regularly direct investors to closely monitor the projects to promptly address difficulties and ensure the progress of the projects to be in line with the committed schedule.
Until 2030, the tasks remain very challenging. Hung Yen province must demonstrate strong political will, proactively allocate land, finalize planning, and promptly begin eligible projects. It is essential to ensure close coordination of Departments, sectors, localities and investors to address any arising issues", said Deputy Minister Sinh.
