Project RENEW supports livestock development loans for families of mine / UXO survivors

Undertake the cooperation between the Cam Lo District Farmers 'Association and Project RENEW in Quang Tri, to help farmers' members of mine / UXO survivors develop economically and stably. For life, Project RENEW has just supported livestock development loans for families of mine / UXO survivors in Cam Tuyen commune, Cam Lo district.

During this round, 10 farmer member households belonging to landmine / UXO survivors in Cam Tuyen commune received loans from Project RENEW with the amount of 10 million VND / household, for a period of 36 months, the interest rate 0.5% per month to invest in livestock and poultry breeding.

Along with loan support, these households are also trained in cattle and poultry breeding techniques; ways to prevent and treat common diseases; study and study models of farm and family-based farming that were previously funded by Project RENEW in two communes of Cam Chinh and Thanh An.

This is one of the important contents to help farmer members belonging to mine / UXO survivors' families to develop economy, create jobs to improve their lives.
