Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh urges Quang Ninh to accelerate social housing development
On July 18, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh led a delegation to inspect the implementation progress of social housing projects in Quang Ninh province.
During the field visit, Deputy Minister Sinh praised the efforts of local authorities and investors in developing social housing projects. He emphasized that social housing must be treated as a key part of the province’s annual socio-economic development plans, with clearly assigned responsibilities for each relevant agency.

He also instructed Quang Ninh to accelerate the approval and adjustment of planning procedures and prioritize projects with cleared land for immediate commencement.
At the social housing project in Ha Khanh Ward — originally a commercial housing development that has been converted into social housing — the Deputy Minister urged the province to promptly complete all necessary administrative procedures.
Deputy Minister Sinh also reminded investors to stay up to date with the latest policies and mechanisms to ensure effective project implementation. He encouraged Quang Ninh to consider allocating additional land or expanding existing projects for qualified and committed developers.
